Tian Hong Char Siew @ Salak South

I love char siew and have eaten really a lot when I was kid. Why? Because my family was in food business years ago selling only BKT and char siew, so when come to dinner, I can only choose between BKT or char siew rice (how lucky I was...). Too bad we are no longer running it, so I have to pay for good char siew now :-).

Other than the famous Meng Kee char siew @ Tengkat Tong Sin, Salak South is another place I will go whenever I crave for char siew.

Went there again one Friday 2pm+, still a bowl of char siew (yes, a bowl, they didn't hang everything) so without hesitate too long, we have ordered 3-pax char siew for only 2 of us ;-). The food still good as usual, frankly I love Meng Kee's char siew better but 2pm+ I'm pretty sure it's already sold out. The secret behind this good char siew is hold by the old owner, always with calm and peaceful look uncle.

Tian Hong just located opposite 7-eleven Salak South, to read more about this char siew:

Again, a scrumptious lunch :-).
