Killiney Kopitiam @ Mid Valley

Most of you maybe already sick of food at Mid Valley, so am I. Weeks ago when I was thinking what to eat at the Boulevard area, suddenly saw this, Killiney Kopitiam. So is this another typical local kopitiam upgraded to shopping mall just to earn some more income? Ah... this is not. Killiney Kopitiam is all the way from Singapore, and has been there since 1919.

Don't know where I've put my receipt, so no price information here. The packed nasi lemak and tea taste not bad, and I like the toast although it doesn't look too good. Our first few orders seem quite promising, so I decided to order a few more snacks.

Ended up the bun and Siam bihun turned out just normal. Anyway, I will visit them again next time because still yet to try their curry chicken, besides, their toast, which far better than our Old Town Kopitiam already a good reason to drop by.

Next (or maybe near) to Chili's

meiyen : well.. just my own opinion, coz I don't like Old Town's toast.

jason : go try, they also serves "looks good" curry.

wmw : yep, it's different, but not the type I like :-)

I like their Mee Siam (is that the same one as yr Siam Beehoon?) It's the traditional soupy version from Spore.

boo_licious : i think it's the same, but the taste not too special (not strong enough), so not my type ;-)

I must say the kaya they use is different from Old Town whose Kaya was miserably spread and not rich enough. I used to buy my kaya from Killiney kopitiam in Singapore at Killiney road. My parents love them too.

char~ : the greatest kaya to me still mum's homemade kaya, put enough egg and rich coconut milk ;-).
