So what the hell is Forêt Noire?
Here it is... actually, it's Black Forest in French (RM 10.90). Of course this Black Forest taste better than other bakeries, but it's too common as a dessert, which only qualified a good, but nothing extra.
So... if the "big" Black Forest can't really satisfying, how about a "small" Warm Chocolate Cake (RM 16.90)? Look at the plate, it's really too big for the cake. This is one of Bakerzin's signatures, soft chocolate cake on the outside, chocolate fillings on the inside, topped with vanilla ice cream and garnished with seasonal berries. This little cake not too fantastic to me, actually not quite like the chocolate fillings after mixed up with the cold ice cream (why add some cold on the warm dish?). I'm more prefer a dark (bitter) chocolate cake with ice cream, or just the warm chocolate mousse (with cream probably) separately.
There are still a lot of items in their menu I should try out, maybe next tea break when I have more extra cash to spend +_+.

I confess I love their Black Forest cake esp when the TVB Gateau Affairs was on telly as the chef will go on and on abt what made the perfect black forest cake!
Goodness, that's too much money to spend on a tea break, IMHO. :-P But gotta admit Bakerzin is a class above most of the other bakeries in town.
i would say that some of da cakes @ this outlet aren't that great but they definitely look tempting and beautiful! ;)
That's a lovely garnishing for the Warm Chocolate Cake. Well, I supposed you pay for the quality and er... presentation?

So nicely presented that sometimes i don't feel like destroying the masterpiece.
kampungboycitygal : err... nyonya kuih sometimes cannot take too much, more like a main dish for me instead of dessert. :p
precious pea : have to be cruel... else, how can we satisfy our stomach? :-)
