Noodle Village @ Bandar Puteri Puchong

I'm not a fan of Pan Mee... so if I know this restaurant is selling Pan Mee, I think I will not give it a try. From the name of the shop, I thought they are serving good noodles, so I walk in straight away without check out their menu.

Luckily, they serve various types of Pan Mee, We've ordered Pan Mee with Stewed Pork (RM 7.80), one of their signature dishes - Lor Mee (RM 6.80) and some mocha and milk tea (RM 2.80).

I also don't like Lor Mee so much, can't really comment on it, but according to SG, this Lor Mee is not good. It's kinda plain in taste, same as my Pan Mee with Stewed Pork. Yeah, overall feeling of the shop is clean and healthy, but really didn't expect the food also so "healthy". I noticed the owner was busy preparing flower tea, so I guess this is another specialty of the shop, but I'm more addicted to coffee and plain Earl Grey as compare to flower tea, the taste is just too "complex" for me.

Will I visit this shop again? Their quality really just "ok" for me, but somehow it is crowded every weekend night, so maybe you will like it.

Tang House of Fishball @ Sea Park

Recently masak-masak posted about fishball noodles, so I scanned through my photo library... and found this, Tang House of Fishball @ Seapark.

Everytime I visited Sunrise roasted duck, this place always packed during breakfast till lunch time, too curious and I decided to give it a try one day morning. I am not really a fan of fishball or fishcake... but to be honest, this shop really offers good quality for both of this. We have ordered dry noodle, soup noodle, fishcake, some Fook Chou fishball and Tau Fu (so sorry, forgotten where I put my receipt, so no price information here but the price definitely reasonable).

The fishcake is good, and the soup noodles, I must say it's good with this taste in KL, because really hard to find good Kuey Teow soup here. Saw lot of customers ordered the mee curry, maybe I can try it next time... anyway, I felt a little bit thirsty after my meal, but overall, quality is good for me, and the most important thing... they serve my favourite red sweet sauce!

Take a Bread @ Puchong Jaya

Very short post...

I favour stronger taste all the time... but this time, back to healthier bread... whole wheat bread shop at Puchong Jaya.

Don't really like to take pure whole wheat bread, so I bought this one... assorted, taste fresh and good! For those meat lover (like me), give yourself a break and you'll find "plain" can be good also (sometimes).

One Noodle @ SS2

Wish to end my busy working life soon... blessing...

After heard lot of complaints about One Noodle's service at SS2, so I decided to try it out myself because lot of good comments about their noodles too.

I was there around 11am. There was an uncle teaching those new waiters how to serve customer, how to hold tray etc... It seems they already realized their service was not good enough and trying to improve it now. It was already packed although still early in the morning, but I managed to find my seat easily and placed my orders.

Typical drinks that I will order at char chan teng, Yin Yang (cold RM 3.30, hot RM 2.80). The cold Yin Yang was good, but the hot one was not recommended. In order to complete my "brunch", I'd ordered some dim sum and main course, so that I can try all in once.

Overall quality? I must praise the Seafood Soup Noodle, sweet soup and nice noodles, what a great combination. The only thing I want to comment, maybe the small dishes, like Siew Mai, Char Siew Bao and Xiao Long Bao, are just "ok". Surprisingly this little Char Chan Teng trying to cover all types of Chinese food, maybe they should just focus on noodles, so the rest will not bring down the overall quality of the shop.
