Hmm... I think it's time to reveal where my hometown is. I've been talking a lot to my friend about the food here, but never bring them here... so sorry about that.
Yeap, I'm from Bidor. If you don't know where is Bidor, follow the north-south highway sign below:
KL -> Tanjung Malim -> Slim River -> Sungkai -> Bidor -> Tapah -> Ipoh -> Taiping -> PenangOr if you still no idea about it, Bidor is famous with Chicken Biscuit (鸡仔饼), Duck noodles (鸭腿面), Guava (鸡屎果), Soy Sauce (those angel 仙女 angel 天女 brands), etc...
Okay... so what I usually eat at Bidor? I will blog about breakfast this time. Usually I will have Chee Cheong Fun for breakfast, I love it so much... it's totally different with the version that you get in KL.

See the Chee Cheong Fun above? It's actually a stall running by my friend's sister, she went to Teluk Intan (Anson) to learn about this type of CCF. Taste a little bit stronger than the normal one that I have, but I'm still more prefer the one that I'm going to show you...

These are the one I like! The left one actually same type with the one above, but this taste more "familiar" to me... cause I've been eating it since... 7-year-old maybe. It's actually done by a family, and distributes it to most of the shop around Bidor to sell. Its ingredients, consists of shrimp, preserved dried cabbage, some minced meat, etc. The one on right main ingredient is shrimp. I love both type, and usually eat it with only soy sauce. Sometimes I will eat the right one with red sweet sauce, but lot of people here like to have these with curry.

This is the shop I have my breakfast, most of the time. It's my friend family business.

I will always order the same drink... Cham (tea + kopi).

And this is... Fu Pei 腐皮, must have!
If you're at Bidor in the morning, ask around for market location, you can find most of the shop and food there.
