Tai Thong Imperial Palace @ Puchong Jaya

I have a friend back from UK for summer holiday, thinking to buy him a dinner... but end up he paid the bill. We (in gang about 16 peoples) went to Imperial Palace at Puchong Jaya, which under Tai Thong Group Malaysia. Always wonder why they want to have so many different names for restaurant...

Initially we are planning to order the set dinner (for 10pax), but surprisingly the waitress said we can only order a la carte because we sit in a room... what a weird rule. Below are some dishes that we've ordered, no price details because we didn't pay the bill.

Roasted chicken (and salad?)

Cod fish

Tau foo

Fried prawn

Scallop

BBQ platter

Imperial Palace has mix quality on their food... BBQ platter is not good, roasted chicken not good, but the rest... taste not bad and I like the Tau Foo. One thing special is their chef uses mayonnaise so often (for the prawn and roasted chicken), even taste good, but I will be more enjoy if they put some effort to "invent" their own sauce.
