Desa Sri Hartamas, a place where you can find Japanese or Korean restaurant everywhere. Usually when mention about Korean food, people will think of Korean BBQ... but since I've tried some Japanese BBQ in this area before, so tonight I'm going to give their casserole (stew pan) food a try. In most of the Korean movie, you can see they usually eat this at home... (too bad we don't have winter here).
Landed at Dae Sa Kwan finally.
They have a full page of casserole choice, for beef lover like me... can't really resist when a beef set appears in menu... he he. Finally I've ordered a medium Spicy Beef & Octopus Casserole (RM68, big one RM80) only, since the waitress said this should be "more than enough" for 2 person, told us no need to order other things.

And here is the... Spicy Beef & Octopus Casserole! Hot stuff boiling in front of me, the octopus just lying in the hot soup... I've seen in TV, they (Korean) do serve this with "live" octopus, so you can see octopus "dying"... instead of lying like now.
SG said the soup taste just normal, but I have different opinion about this. Yeah, I like the soup. Taste not so strong, and just a little bit spicy, taste getting better after the beef mix together... So I finished up one bowl... two bowl... three bowl of soup...

Overall, nice food, nice environment. So anything else I want to complain about the food here?1. Octopus and beef slices should serve separately, so I can simmer it only when I want to eat...
2. Portion maybe, too big for 2, should make smaller a bit, but add more ingredients (like pork slices, prawn...).
3. Price, total bill RM 89.10.

Hmmmm, first time seeing beef and octopus casserole. So much food - I think enough for 4 people.
If one guy plus 2 ladies should be just nice... More than this should order some side dishes.
